If you're coming to Chianti to sample its most famous product, you've hit the jackpot with this beautiful villa set on a wine estate. Just a few hundred metres from the cellars and wine shop, you'll be living on the Tenuta di Bibbiano, owned by the fifth generation of winegrowers to call this special place home. With thirty hectares of vineyards and olive groves, the estate is surrounded by rolling countryside and sits some 300 metres above sea level. With simply stunning views over the Val d’Elsa, this hilltop retreat is an incredible place to stay at any time of year. Completely private and boasting a lawned garden, barbecue area and its own swimming pool, it's built for enjoying the simple life. After walking among the vines, come home to your classically Tuscan country home – packed with character and charm. Inside you'll have vaulted ceilings, terracotta floors and authentic styling. The living space is comfortable and bright and the bedrooms are both romantic spaces, each with a great view and a dedicated bathroom. Nearby, you can visit the medieval town of Castellina in Chianti, around fifteen minutes away by car, where you can stock up on excellent local food and drink, and Monteriggioni is around the same distance. And you can get to beautiful Siena in around half an hour.
